Nottingham Post published 475 homes planned at Nottingham's 'Kremlin' nuclear bunker

Developers have applied for planning permission to turn a former nuclear bunker in Aspley into 475 homes.The former Government buildings in Chalfont Drive, were built in the 1950s.Bellway Homes, which is behind the development in Chalfont Drive, wants to retain the bunker –currently sealed off by the Land Registry because of the danger from asbestos.Previous plans that have been discussed for the Grade II-listed site talked about introducing 345 homes, but the new planning application...
