Also did well to deny a Joe Garner header in the first half, but few other saves to make. 7Eric Lichaj: Offered a greater outlet going forward than Matt Mills did at right-back against Sheffield Wednesday. Went on a superb run early on but, as was an issue for the rest of his team, he couldn't finish it off. 7Jack Hobbs: Preston didn't have too many spells of pressure, but the centre-back was solid enough.
