Nottingham's rush hour traffic was brought to a standstill after a fire started in a derelict building.Emergency services were called to a blaze at a building in Canning Circus, which has been empty for several years, on Wednesday afternoon. A similar fire took place last year at a neighbouring building and was later knocked down.The fire started at about 4.30pm in the derelict shop and fire crews were on the scene within minutes.Steven Scott Kaye, 38, owner of the Footman's Rest bar in Canning.
