NatalieFahy published M1 closed btween junctions 19 and 20 due to serious incident

A serious incident on the M1 has closed the road northbound between junction 19 for the M6 and 20 for Lutterworth in Leicestershire.The air ambulance is among emergency services currently working on the scene.Motorists are advised to follow this diversion:Join the M6 northbound from junction 19, then either exit the M6 at junction one, and join the A426 and A4303 to re-join the M1 northbound at junction 20, or continue on the M6 to junction two and join the M69 northbound to then re-join the M1.
