Rushcliffe MP Ken Clarke is calling for prison numbers to be reduced in the wake of the riots at HMP Birmingham.Stairwells were set on fire and paper records destroyed during the trouble in four wings of the category B prison on Friday.More than 460 prisoners have been moved out of the prison since the riot.In an open letter to The Times newspaper, Ken Clarke, supported by Nick Clegg and Jacqui Smith, said: "The recent violent unrest at HMP Birmingham is a wake-up call for this country....
