The A38 will be closed until midnight at earliest following a lorry fire.Police are assisting Highways England and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service on the A38 in Derbyshire after a lorry fire that is causing major delays.Police received a call at 10.18am this morning to reports of a refuse lorry that was on fire in the northbound carriageway of the A38, near to the roundabout of J28 of the M1.The A38 remains closed in both directions from Alfreton to the junction with the M1.Read more:...
