A fire in an electrical generator caused a power cut in the centre of Nottingham which has hit hundreds of residents and businesses.At around 1.30pm today (Sunday, April 2) a power cut from a generator in the Atrium building on Wollaton Street triggered the blackout.Queues of people at Nottingham's Cineworld in the Corner House were turned away and during the first half of Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom at the Theatre Royal a blackout occurred. Western Power Distribution say some 669 properties.
