Nottinghamshire have signed Jackson Bird to replace fellow Australia international Peter Siddle as an overseas player. The 29-year-old, who has played in five Tests, arrives at Trent Bridge for the first 10 County Championship matches after Siddle was ruled out for the summer with a stress fracture of the back.
