Nottinghamshire rediscovered their batting resolve as they secured a narrow lead over Lancashire on day two of their County Championship game at Trent Bridge.Samit Patel and Riki Wessels put on an unbroken 62 for the sixth wicket as bad light forced Notts to close on 303 for five with eight overs lost, leaving them 27 runs in front after Lancashire were bowled out for 276 in the second over of the day.Patel is unbeaten on 51 with Wessels on 25 as they batted out 7.4 more overs after a 45 minute.
