Craig Kowalski will not play again for Nottingham Panthers this season after breaking his collarbone in the win at Belfast Giants.
Kowalski will miss the last three Elite League games plus the subsequent play-off campaign. He went off with 12 minutes to go of the 3-2 win for Panthers when he was clattered into by Kevin Westgarth.
Kowalski, who had been in superb form , saw his shoulder clatter into the ice after being wiped out by Westgarth in what looked an accidental collision.
