Nottingham Panthers coach Corey Neilson said his side adapted well to tough conditions as they made a winning start to the Continental Cup final.Panthers were 2-0 winners over Odense as captain Brad Moran scored twice in the opening game in Italy.Neilson was pleased to see Panthers beat the Danes for the second time in the competition as they coped well without forward Alex Nikiforuk, who has flown home to be with his wife after the birth of their first child.He felt the ice in the Ritten Arena.
