An ex-army soldier who fought in France during the Second World War has been awarded a medal for his part in the liberation of France. Ken Godfrey, of Long Eaton, was presented the Chevalier de l'Ordre National de la Legion d'Honneur by Madame Josette Lebrat, the Honorary Consul to the French Embassy.
