Builders at Clumber Park were in for a big shock after digging up metres worth of 19th century original tiled flooring.While installing a new sewage system in the National Trust estate, near Worksop, they uncovered parts of the floor and piping work that were originally in the Clumber House mansion.It is believed that the floor dates back to the rebuilding of the grand house in 1913 after the original 1768 model was destroyed in a fire in 1879.
