UKIP leader Nigel Farage missed a television appearance on BBC Question Time this week after getting stuck on the A1. The A1 northbound carriageway was closed for over two hours on Thursday after a fatal crash around 5.30pm near Newark. The collision was between a Vauxhall Astra and a Nissan Juke.
