Notts County defender Scot Bennett has joined Newport County on a three-month loan deal.Bennett, who signed a two-year deal in the summer after leaving Exeter, goes straight into John Sheridan's squad for their clash against Mansfield on Saturday.Bennett has not kicked a ball competitively since August 18 when he played in the 3-1 defeat to Oxford United.The former Exeter captain was at fault for one of the goals and was subsequently dropped by boss Ricardo Moniz.He has struggled to get back in.
