David Flitcroft has held talks with Notts County about the vacant manager's job at Meadow Lane.The Post understands the former Bury boss met the club's new owner Alan Hardy at his Nottinghamshire Golf Club on Sunday.Flitcroft, sacked by Bury last November, is among the bookies' favourites to succeed John Sheridan who was sacked as manager in the aftermath of the 4-0 defeat to Cambridge on January 2.Appointing a new boss is the number one priority for Hardy who finally completed his breakthrough.
