A pensioner who has had both hips replaced is preparing to complete his fourth London Marathon later this month.Derek Ward, of Mansfield, underwent the life-changing operations in 2009 and 2010 at King's Mill Hospital and Park Hospital, in Arnold.He completed the London Marathon in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and will take part again on Sunday, April 23, to raise money for the charity Sense, which supports people who are deaf, blind and have sensory impairments.The 70-year-old will be cheered on by...
