About 2,500 homes have been left in darkness following a power cut - which has also caused multiple sets of traffic lights to fail.A power outage happened in the Nuthall area at around 1.15pm this afternoon (May 3).A spokesman for Western Power Distribution (WPD) told The Post that the power cut may well have affected traffic lights at the A610 Nuthall Island and on the A610 at junction 26 of the M1.
