More than 2,000 properties were left without power in the Bingham area this afternoon. A power cut caused 2,200 properties to lose power in the NG13 8, NG12 2 and NG13 0 postcode areas, which cover Bingham, Rushcliffe and Cotgrave.The power cut began at around 4.15pm this afternoon and electricity was restored to 1,000 properties within three minutes.
