New live video conferencing technology is being installed at care homes across Nottingham in a bid to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions for elderly residents.The technology - introduced by NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) - allows care home staff to hold live video conferences with health staff and seek advice when they are concerned about residents.The project was introduced in ten homes last year, including The Oaks in St Ann's, after the CCG was declared a vanguard
