A former carer who lost both her legs and one of her fingers after contracting meningitis is trying to raise £30,000 to support much-needed adaptations to her home.Sonia Raymond's life was turned upside down when she caught the deadly virus in July last year.The 54-year-old, who worked as a carer for Nottingham City Council before she got ill, spent months in hospital and had both of her legs amputated.
