People are being asked to only visit the the Queen's Medical Centre's A&E in a real emergency after an unusually busy morning has led to long waiting times. Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust has said that the emergency department was already dealing with more than 60 patients by 7amon Saturday (July 1). There were still more than 70 patients in the emergency department at midday and waiting times are exceeding four hours.
