Valuable paintings worth up to £25,000 belonging to Rushcliffe Borough Council are being put up for sale. The council has decided to sell almost all of its art collection ahead of their move to new premises in 2017. The total value of the collection is expected to raise up to £80,000 at auction – although the council have not yet decided how the money will be spent.
