JonPritchard published Trams suspended due to ice

The tram network in Nottingham has been seriously affected by the thick ice that many people woke up to on Sunday morning. The unexpected frost caused thick ice on the overhead lines which the tram uses to run, and from around 7am on Sunday, the whole service was suspended. Trams began moving again at around 7.45am, but they were running on limited journeys. Nottingham City Transport are accepting tram tickets and passes.
