JonPritchard published Traffic backs up on Alfreton Road after two car crash

Two cars were involved in a rush-hour crash on the Alfreton Road, causing delays for road users.A witness heard a loud bang at around 4pm and went outside to help the two men in the cars which had collided near to teh junction with Hartley Road on the A610 Alfreton Road.Police closed the road and buses had to be re-directed along Hartley Road and Radford Boulevard heading away from the city.Muhammed Aslam, 24, who lives in nearby Warren Street, described helping one of the occupants of one.
