Rail passengers are being advised to check before they travel on Thursday due to continued disruption.A piece of cable came into contact with overhead wires in Luton at 2.45pm on Tuesday and caused disruption into Wednesday for trains running between Nottingham and London.It caused a power failure and damaged the signalling equipment which controls train movements.
