Police are appealing for information about a crash on the M1 which left a woman seriously injured.The crash happened shortly before 10am on Thursday, after a Volkswagen Passat broke down on the southbound carriageway between junction 29 and 28.Minutes later, a van crashed into the car. The woman driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to Queen's Medical Centre for treatment, while the van driver, a male, was also injured but not thought to be in a life-threatening condition.Read more:.
