James Taylor was forced to retire early after doctors discovered a heart condition earlier this month. He has now thanked the NHS and hospital staff for saving his life. The 26-year-old was found to have arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), the same condition that led to Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba having a cardiac arrest on the pitch in 2012. Taylor was released from hospital on Friday and took to social media on Saturday to thank those who had helped him.
