A car has been pulled from the River Trent in Nottinghamshire by firefighters. The car, which is thought to be a Ford Fiesta, was spotted by a dog walker on Thursday morning, who alerted police shortly before 11am. The car was pulled from the river on Hoveringham Road, Hoveringham. Holly Hall, spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We were called to the scene at 11.04am.
