An off-licence in Nottingham city centre has withdrawn its bid to serve alcohol until 6am.Uni Express, in Talbot Street, submitted an application to Nottingham City Council to sell booze until 5am Sunday to Thursday, and until 6am on Friday and Saturday.The applicant, Sheikh Abdul Assab, who runs the store, had asked councillors hearing the case at a licensing panel meeting on Friday to adjourn the meeting so he could reply properly to objections.Read more: Man in serious condition after crash..
