Emergency services will launch an investigation after a blaze broke out at Rushcliffe Arena.The Rugby Road leisure centre, which is currently being redeveloped by the borough council, was engulfed in flames at around 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon, leading to plumes of smoke filling the skies across the city.Four fire engines and a command support unit rushed to the scene, along with two police cars and two police vans.Although the fire had died down by around 6pm, Nottinghamshire Fire Service said.
