Guests were left waiting outside their hotel in Hockley for almost an hour in the early hours of Sunday morning after a fire broke out at the rear of the property.Mercure Hotel, in George Street, was evacuated shortly after 4.30am on Sunday due to a rubbish fire behind the property.
