Fire crews have spent more than five hours tackling a large rubbish fire in a Nottinghamshire village.At its height, four fire engines and a water bowser were sent to the fire at Owthorpe Lane in Cotgrave, after being alerted to the blaze at around 7.30am this morning (Saturday, July 8).A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crews were requesting help from JCBs to break up the rubbish, which would help stop the fire from spreading.Read more: Man, 54, told to expect...
