Employees in Nottingham had their worst fears come true when they were trapped at work due to flash floods. A number of staff from businesses in Colwick were left unable to leave work on Tuesday afternoon when roads and car parks in the area flooded. Heavy downpours around rush hour led to a number of roads in the area flooding, with many commuters caught unawares by the heavy rainfall.
