JonPritchard published Compton Acres charity shop gutted by arson attack to re-open

A charity shop which was destroyed by a fire is set to re-open this week. The Cancer Research UK shop at Compton Acres Shopping Centre will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am tomorrow. (Wednesday, June 13). The shop was damaged by the fire on October 12 which police confirmed was an arson attack. The charity has spent around £65,000 doing a complete refit of the shop as well as repairing the damage, although the money has been recovered through insurance. Police have not yet...
