A car was severely damaged by fire in Calverton on Tuesday night. A fire crew were called to George's Lane shortly after 7pm. A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One crew from Arnold were called to a car fire. The car was severely damaged." The crew left the scene shortly after 7.30pm.
