A car had to be rescued by firefighters after it became stuck in flood water under a bridge. The crew, from Long Eaton fire station, came across the stricken car shortly before 4pm on Tuesday. They quickly worked to retrieve it from the standing water at the bottom of the bridge, near Long Eaton railway station.
