JonPritchard published A52 reopens after overturned lorry spills load

The A52 has now reopened after a lorry spilled it loads on Thursday morning. The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital following the crash, which happened between Wheatcroft and Nottingham Knight islands, shortly after 5am. One lane was closed at Wheatcroft Island to protect the lorry, which had fallen on its side into the grass at the side of the dual carriageway and shed it load of scrap metal.
