More than 22,000 potholes will be repaired in Nottinghamshire thanks to funding of more than £1 million from the Government.Nottinghamshire County Council was told in the summer it would receive £839,000 for pothole repairs from the Local Highways Maintenance Pothole Fund - but that has since been increased to £1,174,000.This means the council will be able to fill more than 22,000 potholes, 40 per cent more than originally expected.Read more: Prince Harry-backed teen inspires..
