Theresa May has defended Conservative candidates following a decision by the Crown Prosecution Service not to bring any charges over alleged electoral fraud in the 2015 general election. Mrs May visited Richard Herrod Centre, in Carlton, this afternoon and said the Conservative candidates in the last election did nothing wrong.
