A cyclist has called for safer precautions to be made in Beeston after she received horrific injuries when falling from her bike when crossing tram tracks.Angela Barnett-Connolly, from Attenborough, required 12 stitches after her glasses embedded in head following the crash on Chilwell Road in Beeston.The 48-year-old, who was cycling back from the town, fell after the front wheel went from underneath her as she crossed a tram line while passing a parked bus on July 15.Her husband, Michael, said.
