A 23-year-old man who had set himself on fire was saved by the quick-thinking actions of police officers who responded to the call.The man called police on Sunday (June 14) evening threatening to pour petrol over himself and set himself alight.Police officers located him in Castle Gate within minutes after the call at around 7.40pm, but his clothes were already well alight on their arrival.They were able to put out the fire using a bag to dampen the flames and a fire extinguisher which is...
