The final movement is playing at Nottingham's last specialist classical CD shop. After 30 years it will shut early next month, the victim of changes in listening habits and the audio market. Classical CD in Hockley, founded by Richard Gibson in 1987, is hosting clearance offers ahead of its expected closure at the end of the first week of July: spend more £50 on new stock and get 20 per cent off.
