JHLewis published Books from Nottingham sent to help trainee nurses in Zambia
The East Midlands medical community has boosted nurse training in the landlocked African state of Zambia. In a project co-ordinated by Zambia-born nursing professional Florence Mwando, donated medical books and journals and other educational equipment have been shipped out to capital Lusaka.Florence and her husband Nelson flew to Lusaka and were joined by supporter and fellow Zambian Peggy Katambi, a Derby-based nurse, to distribute the books at five teaching hospitals and nursing schools.Read..
