Plans to cut down or scrap seven rural bus services could leave older people isolated, say concerned residents.Nottinghamshire County Council agreed the proposal yesterday to save £420,000 from its bus budget over the next year.As a result, one route serving Rushcliffe villages will be completely scrapped, and six others across the county will be reduced or merged. And there is more to come, with a target of slashing £720,000 of the budget by 2018. The council says it pays the money.
