Welsh baker Alana Spencer has been hired by Lord Sugar after a nail-biting The Apprentice final. The 24-year-old has beaten the other 17 candidates - including Frances Bishop, of Keyworth, who dressed up as a cupcake on her return to the show - in the 12th series of the BBC One series after 12 weeks of competition and tough tasks.
