Two pensioners were treated by the East Midlands Ambulance Service after a house caught fire.Firefighters from Eastwood and Stockhill were called out to the blaze in Cliff Boulevard at 5.53pm yesterday.They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a thermal image camera to tackle the fire, which was put out by 7.04pm.The elderly residents were treated by the ambulance service as a precautionary check.
