JemmaPage published Storm Doris shuts M1 southbound during rush hour

UPDATE - 5.26pm: All lanes of the M1 northbound are now open. One lane southbound is expected to open shortly. All lanes on the M1 have been closed during rush-hour due to an unsafe overhead gantry. Firefighters have shut the southbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 26 and 25 so they can try and make the area safe. Two northbound lanes have also been closed while officers use an aerial ladder platform to access the gantry.
