Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, which has been transformed using a £49,999 grant, will be officially opened this week.
The land, in Stapleford, has been redeveloped after receiving the money from WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited) to improve the park. A new path has been created around the edge of the park and new play equipment has also been installed.
