Losing his sight five years ago will not stop Second World War veteran Kenneth Godfrey from joining in the Remembrance Sunday celebrations. The 90-year-old, of Long Eaton, will be among more than 100 representatives from the charity Blind Veterans UK at the Poppy Day march in Cenotaph in London on Sunday.
